Approval of October 11th Meeting Minutes.

Old Business: The Otterfest Committee had its first meeting on October 11th. Discussed overall scope. Next meeting will be on January 10th at 6pm before our next PTO meeting. 

1. • Need: Co-Chair, Food, Games/Prize Co-chair, Raffle Co-chair, Silent Auction Co-chair, and Business Sponsor Co-chair. 

2. Teacher Dinner

3. Book Fair/Conferences- Made $1600 in Scholastic Dollars.

4. Previously nominated the new board positions. Chair: Tammy Olson and Ashley Ferber. Treasurer: Mandi Wingert and Adam Ferber. 

5. Teachers are in need of headphones. Posted link to Amazon on the PTO Facebook. Ask teachers to send broken headphones back home with students labeled “broken” to get rid of the clutter and as a way to notify parents that they are broken. (Most parents don’t know these things because kids don’t tell them).  Update:  Over 50 pairs have been donated! 

6. Approved PTO Budget for 2022-2023. 

New Business: 

1. Veteran’s Day: We need donations for the Veterans Home. (Last Day is Wed. Nov. 16th)

2. No December Meeting - Painting help needed for Kindergarten.

3. Parent Night Activities - discuss interests. 

4. Teacher Appreciation Day - Dec 22.

Recap of Open House, Bookfair,

1. Volunteer Opportunities- See Calendar- BOOK Fair Oct 17,18 during conferences, and Teacher Dinner. 

2. **2 Board Positions are currently open: Co-Treasurer, and Co-Chair**

3. We need a Website manager who can help with social media.

4. Homecoming Parade planning- Purchase candy, arrange float, Ollie, decorate float, etc. Friday Oct 15th at 4pm meet at Parker Elementary. 

5. Otterfest Committee Forming- First meeting October 11th, 6pm before PTO meeting
